Up for sale today is this copy of Molly Hatchet's 1980 Beatin' The Odds (FE 36572) 12" vinyl 33 LP. I used Goldmine's record grading guidelines to visually grade the condition of this album. The vinyl itself is in VG condition with some scuffs and scratches. It's dark and glossy and there none of the scratches are deep enough for me to feel with my finger. The original inner sleeve with lyrics is included. The cover is in VG condition with ring, edge, corner, and surface wear. Remember to look closely at the pictures. This album played through great for me. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you might have.

I use Goldmine's Record Grading Guidelines to visually grade the condition of all the records that I sell. I do the best I can to be as accurate as possible. I'm only human, I'm not a professional, but I feel I grade conservatively and with my own expectations in mind.
Please keep in mind that the nature of grading records (both visually and play grading) is subjective. What I consider VG might differ from what someone else sees as VG. My expectations tend to be high. I rarely grade NM and don't use Mint.
All of my records have been stored vertically and I grade them under both natural light and a UV light. They are cleaned with a gentle soap and a soft cloth, then an anti-static brush before playing. I highly recommend using an anti-static brush every time you play a record as it really improves the sound. When I do listen to a record I'll put in the Listing Description what I heard.
Please keep in mind that I CANNOT guarantee the sound of any used record!
I wash each and every record by hand (whether they look like they need it or not) giving them a good soapy wet wash. I dry them with a nice soft cloth and bring out as much of that beautiful vinyl shine as I can.
All kinds of things can be found inside the inner sleeves to make the vinyl dirty. Static electricity is probably the worst since it attracts so many things which can include, but are not limited to, dust, dog hair, cat hair, llama hair, pigeon feathers, and other debris. Although we've never had a llama or a pigeon. These things all negatively effect the sound of vinyl records. I do have a pet friendly, non-smoking home.
When I do listen to an album I'll put in the Listing Description how it sounded to me. Remember to look closely at the pictures. The record in the picture is the record that is for sale.
I listen to as many records as I can, time permitting. I like rock and I generally like it loud. If I grade a record as VG/VG+ then play it and it plays great and has very little to no surface noise, I generally go with the higher grade of VG+. I rarely grade a record as NM and never use Mint. Please allow for differences in our equipment, opinions, and our very human hearing.
Please keep in mind that I CANNOT guarantee the sound of any used record. I just can't.
All records are lovingly packed in cardboard record mailers (by me). My shipping department (my puppy and me) sees that all items are safely put in the hands of the USPS. Items are usually shipped within one business day of cleared payment. I believe in reusing shipping supplies when possible. This doesn't always make the prettiest packages, but items are always packed securely. At this time I use only the USPS.
Combined shipping and payments are welcome! When purchasing more than one item, please wait for an invoice from me so that you are sure to get the correct combined shipping rate.
Returns are accepted within 14 days of receipt but I will accept returns up to 30 days, if needed. You can contact me via messages, I check them several times a day. Please, returned items must be in the condition they were in when I packaged them.
*A note on feedback: I want to make sure you are happy with your purchase. Positive feedback lets me know that you are happy and is very much appreciated!
Your satisfaction is very important to me! If you happen to have any problems with your purchase please let me know right away so we can work it out! I am but a mere human.
