THE YARDBIRDS - OVER UNDER SIDEWAYS DOWN
Epic BN 26210 - VG++
1st Stereo Pressing from 1966
Record: VG++. 1st Pressing. Excellent condition, only a few slight unfeelable/non-playable marks, including a needle-mark on Side 1. This mark does NOT sound on playback. The yellow Epic labels are in excellent condition as well.
Cover: VG+. Presents beautifully, with a very fresh appearance.  All seams are tight and intact, with the front and back covers in excellent condition. There is only the very slightest bit of corner wear on some corners, and slight browning on some edges.  There is also a tiny little sticker noticeable on the upper left front cover.
Details of 1st Pressing:
-This is the original US stereo release with the Epic logo appearing at the top center of the front sleeve. -NONBREAKABLE is printed to the left of center hole on yellow labels. -Two small rectangular boxes placed an inch apart in the top right corner of the sleeve are meant to indicate a stereo sleeve. (Mono copies will only have one of these boxes). -No Letter Code on the back cover. But there is a small "9" printed on the bottom right. Matrix / Runout (Run-out side A): XSB114165-1A Matrix / Runout (Run-out side B): XSB114166-1A

This record was conservatively play-graded, using the Goldmine grading system. This record comes from my personal collection, and has been carefully cleaned and stored. All records will be sold with a new vinyl inner sleeve, and the record cover will be placed in a new 3mil outer sleeve. The record will be shipped in the sleeve behind the jacket to prevent seam splits. All records will be shipped in sturdy cardboard containers designed for LPs.

Below are my ratings for LP's. Note that I will not sell records below VG+.

RECORD RATINGS

LP/COVER

DESCRIPTION

MINT

 Cover and LP:

Perfect, or sealed. If opened, no evidence that it has been played. The cover and LP must appear new, with no flaws.

Near Mint (NM)

Cover:

Almost Perfect. Fresh, like-new appearance. All edges complete and clean, with no tears, splits, foxing, stains or discoloration.

LP:

Almost Perfect. Excellent gloss, only the most minimal marks or rubs allowed, no scratches, plays perfectly with little or no background sound. Label is fresh and clean with no flaws or spindle marks.

NM-

Cover:

Excellent appearance, with only the slightest evidence of shelf/seam/spine wear. No splits seams allowed. Note: alterations to the cover, such as punch-holes, cut corners, etc. are allowed for this level, and will be appropriately described and photographed.

LP:

Excellent gloss, with the record surface showing only slight signs of wear. Non-feelable and non-playable marks or rubs are allowed, as would be reflected in normal, careful use. Label and spindle hole are without flaws, with slight spindle trails allowed. The LP plays perfectly with little or no background sound.

VG++

Cover:

Excellent appearance, but with some minor flaws, such as obvious but minor shelf-wear, or slight foxing of the seams. No splits seams are allowed. This reflects an LP that has been well-cared for, but shows some signs of use.

LP:

Excellent gloss, the LP shows signs of use, but any marks must be non-feelable and non-playable. The label must be fresh, but spindle marks are OK if they do not detract from the label. The LP plays excellently, with only minor, occasional surface noise acceptable.

VG+

Cover:

Excellent appearance, but with more obvious wear, such as foxing on the spine or seams, or obvious shelf-wear. Very slight seam-splits are allowed, but the overall appearance is of a well-cared-for record.

LP:

Record will be well-cared for, but show signs of wear. Non-feelable rubs or scuffs are allowed, with slight, occasional background noise also allowed. Labels must be presentable, with no damage. Some spindle marks allowed. Spindle holes must not be damaged in any way.
