Folklore is the eighth studio album by American recording artist Taylor Swift. It was released on July 24, 2020. Swift released the album as a surprise when her Loverfest stadium tour was canceled due to the 2019–20 pandemic. She produced the album with her longtime collaborator Jack Antonoff, along with Aaron Dessner. She conceived Folklore as "a collection of songs and stories that flowed like a stream of consciousness" out of her imagination.
