This album From 1994 named Cross Purposes is by far my fav Sabbath album with Tony Martin OnThe excellent headless crossFrom 1989 This is more HEAVY metal than prog but very enjoyable ifYou like thisSide Of Theband . I have this album since it was released in 1994, and I was blown away (in A good sense), I even bought A t-shirt with this album. After Duhumanizer From 1992 and another DIOOnband 's career (third studio album with him) brings cross purchasesA fresh air in SabbathSound . The album has some very fine and strong guitar riffs and solos specialy On opening track I Witness, TheThe Cradle and Cardinal Sin,The rest is above many pieces Sabbath done inThe past I like very much The atmosphere this album has as AHEAVY sometimes, that isA good thing no doubt (we talking aboutOneofThe bestHEAVY metal bands ever) and sometimes very smooth and melacholic. Tony Martin's voice On this album is outstanding, very powerful, excellent vocalist he fits like AOn this childofMUSIC , just check out I witness, Crossof Thorns, Immaculate Deception. The Hand That RocksThe Cradle and Cardinal Sin, excellent pieces, maybe The bestBLACK SABBATH tunes since Mob Rules. Also Iommi gather On this album top notch musicians, as always, TheOn bass Butler, NicholsOn keys (he isA current member since Heaven AndHell ) andOn drums another outstanding musician Bobby Rondinelli, so is clear thatThe MUSIC is super well done. Something To mention is that TheSound is crystal clear, every instrumentSounds absolutely amazing. Definetly One ofBLACK SABBATH albums ever, along with Headless Cross, Heaven AndHell , and coupleof early albums with Ozzy. 4 Stars FORifYou are alsoOnHEAVY metal side.
