T. REX: Light Of Love. ORIGINAL 1974 UK WHITE LABEL Test Pressing
For auction one of the very first pressings of T. Rex's '74 single, 'Light Of Love' ever to see the light of day. So early a press is this, it hasn't hasn't even got the usual EMI/ T.Rex demo label, just a plain blank.
It is only in the dead wax where we can see "Y MARC 8 A-2" printed into the vinyl that the disc reveals it's contents.
The record itself is in immaculate condition, possibly unplayed, and the white labels are clean and bright, showing no signs of the almost 50 years since such advance copies were distributed to just a few essential record industry insiders.
It is housed in the classic T.Rex red & blue branded bag.
All in all, this is an absolute rarity and a superb, possibly unique, addition to any Marc library.
