This MFSL "With the Beatles" copy was bought brand-new by me in 1984, and I only played it once on my Garrard DD-75 turntable with a Sure V15 Type IV cartridge, specifically to record it to tape. I haven't played it again in 38 years. MFSL LPs were all the rage back then, and this album in particular is rare and difficult to find-- especially in an almost unplayed condition. I remember clearly that the vinyl was extremely quiet compared to regular records at that time. The disc was manufactured in Japan to extremely high-quality standards. This album sourced the original 1963 Abbey Road UK 2-track stereo master that MFSL then remastered in analog at 1/2-speed. This remastering still has the vocals on one channel and instrumental backing on the other, like the original stereo mix. One unique difference I noticed immediately at the time was the extremely clean sound and a more prominent bass EQ than normal.
I stored the album for the last 38 years vertically inside its original anti-static sleeve inside the album cover, which also stayed in its original MFSL outer plastic bag opened at one side. The photos show the outer bag still has the original Tower Records price tag. Since I have no way of playing the album, and it has been in storage for 38 years, I cannot make any statements concerning its current sound quality*. By the looks of the vinyl, I would expect the record to sound like new, but I cannot guarantee that. The buyer may want to consult a MFSL record expert/collector familiar with how MFSL records age when stored in their original packaging (same as still-sealed copies), if that is a concern. The MFSL promotional literature sheet that came with the album looks like new. For shipping, I placed the vinyl record in a brand-new MoFi Original Master Recording anti-static sleeve and inside a new protective outer sleeve. I packed the original anti-static sleeve in a new protective sleeve. I also placed the record jacket in a new sleeve (See photos), separate from the original outer bag.
I took the album out of its original sleeve to photograph it and did not wipe or clean-off any static dust. Visually I observed no "flaws" at all on the playing surfaces (except some static dust) or labels. The album looks brand-new to me, and the vinyl is slightly transparent when held to the light. On the outside LP rim, there is one spot that looks like the vinyl flashing was not completely trimmed off after pressing. This is extremely small, and only noticeable under close scrutiny (see photo blow-up of this area). Other than that, I observed no imperfections and no warpage.
The outside record cover is made of glossy cardboard stock and shows several places of minor edge and corner wear from normal storage (see photos). This listing's photos show many views of areas that typically show wear in a record jacket. There are two small spots on the front cover (see photos) that to me appear to be printing artifacts. One is a small white spot just to the right of Ringo's head. The other is a small discoloration just to the left of "with" in the album title. Overall, the set looks excellent* in my opinion. The cover has remained inside its original MFSL plastic bag, so it shows very little wear.

PACKING:
The record itself is placed in a brand-new MoFi Original Master anti-static sleeve-- separate from the original record sleeve and separate from the album cover jacket. The album cover jacket, outer plastic bag, and MFSL insert are also packed separately in protective sleeves. The contents are further reinforced with corrugated cardboard/bubble wrap inside an album shipping box, which is then sealed inside a plastic bag. This interior record shipping box is then double boxed in a larger outer box filled with packing peanuts. The shipping boxes are reinforced with strong fiberglass tape. Note: To protect the contents, please be careful when removing from the packaging.
SHIPPING:
Ships to US Customers only (48 contiguous states only & no PO Boxes) via UPS Ground or UPS Expedited services, which are the most reliable services from my location. No other shipping options, locations, or changes are offered (see important "IMPORTANT CHANGES/PACKING/SHIPPING NOTE" note below). This item is already packed for immediate shipment via UPS in accordance with this listing, so combined shipping isn't offered. The buyer is responsible to pay the eBay-calculated shipping charge shown at purchase for the chosen service. In other words, the buyer’s final cost = selling price + shipping price shown at purchase for the selected service + any applicable taxes collected by EBay. Please consider the sum total of these charges as the "total cost" when bidding, and please address any questions or issues with me prior to bidding. Thanks. JimR24.
IMPORTANT CHANGES/PACKING/SHIPPING NOTE:
I have already packed these personal items for immediate shipment via UPS to the contiguous 48 states only (no PO Boxes). No other shipping options or locations are offered. This listing includes significant effort by me to pack the items efficiently for safe transport (see photos). I do not intend to reopen or re-do any packaging. If any change to existing packaging or a different shipping method or location is requested by a winning bidder (including someplace UPS does not deliver), without having cleared it with me in advance, I will have to charge a $25 repackaging fee plus any difference in postage before I can ship the item. If you have any qualms with this listing that I cannot address to your satisfaction, PLEASE DO NOT BID!! Selling to an unhappy buyer is a complete waste of time! These items are from my personal stuff, I am not a record dealer, and I don’t accept returns. Thanks! JimR24.
