ITEM DESCRIPTION: 

BOTH DISCS ARE 100% ANALOG!

1) PCS 7027 "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" UK Pressing.  From searching Discogs, I believe this to be the sixth pressing from summer 1976 through October 1980. 

Corroborating characteristics from Discogs:  Black/white Parlophone label with silver print. Two "EMI" marks, which are white with black print. “EMI Records Ltd…” printed at the start of label perimeter and “Made In GT. Britain” printed at the end of the label perimeter. A Sgt. Peppers cutout sheet is included. Inner groove gibberish present on side 2 runout. Plain white Inner sleeve says, "PATENT Nos. 1,125,555" "MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN" and 779. (NOTE: The EMI inner sleeve definitely matches those from the late 1970s, and "779" may indicate a July 1979 manufacturing date, but I'm not certain of that) Matrix / Runout: Side 1: 5 YEX 637-3 RG (stamped)  HTM (etched) (Discogs variant 5, except the "5" and "RG" stand-alone side stamps are not mentioned). Side 2:  7 YEX 638-3 CAL (stamped) HTM (etched) (Discogs variant 5, except the "7" and "CAL" stand alone side stamps are not mentioned.) 

I bought this LP new 40+ years ago and played it only a few times on my high-end turntable / cartridge, primarily to record it to tape. The laminated gatefold cover has a few creases and some ring-wear. The loose-fitting shrink-wrap also has some tears, but the store price tag and Capitol/EMI import stickers are still present. The LP inner sleeve is on plain white paper and has some wrinkles. The album was stored vertically in a dry smoke-free environment since new. For this listing's photographs, I did not clean the LP. The record is very nice over-all, and even without a professional cleaning and with the occasional dust click, the vinyl portions I played sounded smooth and quiet to my ears. I have included a snippet of the beginning and end tracks in the attached video.

2) PHO 7027 "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band." From Discogs, this appears to be the 1979 German "Picture Disc."

Corroborating characteristics from Discogs: 

Picture disk features front cover image on both sides. Inner groove gibberish present on side 2 runout. Image is not cropped tightly, and the "B" in Beatles is visible. No track listings or credits anywhere on this release. Matrix / Runout (Scrawled in runout side A): PHO • 7027 • A  "FOR GEORGE AND MABEL" (Scrawled in runout side B): PHO • 7027 • B1 "ANOTHER WINNER FROM ERNIE"

This disc came in a clear plastic sleeve (included) with no jacket. I stored it in a separate anti-dust sleeve for protection.  It was never displayed. I don't recall ever playing it either, except for this listing. It's been stored in a dry smoke-free environment for 40+ years. The disc is quite thick compared to a regular record. The image quality is very good with a smooth laminated hard plastic shine to it. It would look great on display. I attached a few close-up pictures of the grooves to show how faint they look compared to the picture. The "Made in W. Germany" sticker is affixed to the record itself, where the record label would normally be. I don't know if this is removable. For this listing, I did not clean the album.  The sound quality is not on-par with the included UK pressing, but picture discs were not known for their sound quality.  I have included snippets from the beginning and end tracks in the attached video.

PACKING:

This item is already packed for prompt shipment via UPS in accordance with this listing (see photos). The records are placed in brand-new MoFi Original Master anti-static sleeves-- separate from the original record sleeves and album jackets. The contents are further protected inside new transparent outer sleeves within the album shipping box, which is then sealed inside a plastic bag. This interior record shipping box is then double-boxed in a larger outer box with packing peanuts and bubble wrap. The outer box is reinforced with fiberglass and brown shipping tape. Note: To protect the contents, please be careful when removing from the packaging.

Ships to US Customers only (48 contiguous states only & no PO Boxes) via UPS Ground or UPS Expedited services, which are the most reliable services from my location for this item.  No other shipping options, locations, or changes are offered (see "IMPORTANT CHANGES/PACKING/SHIPPING NOTE" note below). USPS services, including Media Mail, and FEDEX services are not offered. They have unfortunately proven to be unreliable in my area for this type of item. I realize that the shipping cost can be a significant portion of the final cost, especially for long distances, so I ask that buyers consider the sum total of all charges as the "final cost" when buying. The buyer is responsible to pay the eBay-calculated charges shown at purchase for the chosen UPS service.
