THE POSTAL SERVICE - GIVE UP (Sub Pop 35th Anniversary Edition)

Part of a limited series of 'Essential Edition' represses, celebrating Sub Pop's 35th Anniversary. Exclusively available from Rough Trade stores.

The Postal Service is a long-distance collaboration between Ben Gibbard (singer/guitarist from Death Cab For Cutie) and Jimmy Tamborello (Jimmy recorded the Beachwood Sparks album ‘Make The Cowboy Robots Cry’ and also records under the name Dntel). Ben and Jimmy sent music back and forth, between California and Washington, each adding new elements until the record was complete. The result is a sweetly charming, largely electronic album with a warmth not typically associated with the clicks-and-beeps set. As an added bonus, additional vocals on the record are provided by Jen Wood and Rilo Kiley’s Jenny Lewis.

Limited Edition of 500 copies on OPAQUE PURPLE Vinyl with Obi Strip.

Sub Pop - SP 595.

New / Sealed. Seam split to top edge.

Please check out my other auctions. I am more than happy to combine multiple wins and combine postage to keep costs down. When finished purchasing, please request a total and I will amend the invoice. Please see postage rates below:

UK POSTAGE:

I have put a rate of £4.50 on each auction. (Royal Mail 2nd Signed For). I can send up to 3 items for this. Any more than 3 items will cost £7 using UPS. There is no upper limit to this - fill yer boots!

INTERNATIONAL POSTAGE:

I use the eBay Global Shipping programme to handle International shipping and as such, have no control over what price is charged and have no ability to change it after the auction has closed. Please bear this in mind when placing bids.

Thanks and good luck!

A NOTE ON BEST OFFERS:

I include a Best Offer function on my Auction Style listings to accommodate those keen to secure an item they have their heart set on without the risk of being outbid. It is not there for people to submit speculative, lowball offers.

Closing an Auction early with a Best Offer disappoints other Watchers and minimises the items potential final sale value, so I only encourage offers that are over the Starting Bid and which are reflective of the potential sale value if the auction were to run to completion.

In all instances, the Starting Bid is the lowest I am willing to accept and all auctions are set up to automatically refuse any offer below the Starting Bid.

Please do not message asking for a lower price as I will not respond.
