Welcome to my auctions for an incredible collection of Rock and Pop records from the 60s and 70s.

I grade under a GU10 spotlight, beyond any marks I pay careful attention to spindle marks and also any dullness in the run-in grooves that may indicate repeated needle-drops. This kind of visual grading is the only way to go really as it’s far less subjective than any comments on audio. I’m a collector myself and grade very strictly. You can bid with confidence.

Some of these have been filed for many years and will need (ideally an ultrasonic) clean to sound their best. At the prices some of you will be bidding on these I would hope you have a decent way to clean your vinyl :)

This listing is for the 1st UK issue of The Beatles Abbey Road LP

Vinyl: EX. Both sides deeply shiny but there are just a few too many light light handling marks (the kind you need to angle the disc under a ligtht to spot) to grade NM. Needs a clean. Spindle marks indicate this was played several times but handled very carefully. No spiders web, maybe five on Side 1 and two or three times more on Side 2. 

Matrices YEX 749 A-3U and YEX 750-1. Any further etchings are photographed.

Sleeve: NM with nothing to mention except for a slight lift in the spine, at the top. See the photograph. A close to perfect example

Inner is plain white. I have a copy of this myself with a black inner, not sure which is correct.
