This is an ultra rare, limited edition sealed promo copy version of the Australian release of Motörhead’s Another Perfect Day LP released by Festival Records in Australia in 1983, catalogue number L38042 / BRON 546.

This was the Motörhead album that featured guitarist Brian ‘Robbo’ Robertson from Thin Lizzy, who was recruited as an urgent replacement for ‘Fast’ Eddie Clarke who left in the middle of the Iron Fist US Tour.

The sleeve artist, Joe Petango had worked closely with Lemmy for many years so was aware of the chaos in the group during the recording period, so designed the cover accordingly…

When he first saw it Philthy said, "Fuck man! If the kids see that on acid, they're just going to freak!”

It’s certainly a classic!

The promo sticker on the back cover reads

PROMOTIONAL RECORD NOT FOR SALE

Media - DJ Copy on loan for promotion only

The same sticker also appeared on side 1of albums released by Festival Records in the 80's, so I’m assuming this will be the same for this album.

This copy is still factory sealed and includes the hype sticker which reads MOTORHEAD. Their New Album. Another Perfect Day.

Contains New Bonus Sew on Patch.

This collector’s edition, sealed, promo album has been stored in my record library in a climate controlled room since 1983.

Because it has never been opened I’m presuming all of the vinyl is mint.

Please let me know if you need any further info.
