A rare album released in 1992 by Tsuyoshi Yamamoto, the Japanese jazz pianist who is currently attracting the most attention from jazz fans around the world, is reissued on analog for the first time in the world! A phantom session recorded in Japan in 1991 as a trio with John Clayton (b) and Billy Higgins (ds) during his visit to Japan. A popular album ranging from standards to A-5, a tribute work to Chet Baker featuring his friend Mickey Curtis on vocals! Tsuyoshi Yamamoto Profile Born March 23, 1948 in Niigata Prefecture. Jazz pianist. In 1967, while attending Nihon University, he began working with Mickey Curtis' group. In 1974, he recorded his first leader album, "Midnight Sugar." He appeared at the Monterey Jazz Festival in 1977 and the Montreux Jazz Festival in 1979. He then worked in New York for a year. After returning to Japan, he mainly worked with his own trio. They have released many albums as a trio, and in 2000 they released a vocal album. They continue to perform live energetically.
