The Doors self titled LP from January 1967, EKS74007, includes Break On Through (To The Other Side), Light My Fire and The End
An incredible debut album
This copy is an original early US stereo pressing on the tan Elektra label.
Pressed in Allentown PA, unique to these pressings is having the word "Stereo" on either side of the label
Released in January 1967, the runout has 74007 - A (AL-1) & 74007 - B (A) etched in it and the publishing credit for Alabama Song is Witmark, indicating this is an early pressing. Later pressings had Harms Co. publishing credit.
Pressed on thick heavyweight vinyl
The stereo separation between the channels is fantastic
The record is graded as Good + as per Record Collector grading - see photo
Side 1 - A1 & A5 has light background crackle during the quiet passages which are overpowered by the music. A2,3 & 4 play fine.
Side 2: All tracks have some crackles
Both sides have hairline marks with some feelable scratches
No skips or jumps.
Professionally cleaned and play tested on my high quality system, hence the honest and accurate assessment
Please see photos as they form part of the description
The sleeve is the original thick cardboard sleeve with "Printed In USA" at the bottom on the back. It has no tears, splits or writing. There is a mark, maybe a removed price ticket, to the upper right corner
Inner sleeve is the correct brown Elektra inner with no splits and the 1855 Broadway address. Unusual as the heavyweight records often split the thin paper
Will be posted 2nd class Royal Mail parcel in a cardboard LP mailer
No returns
