Featured here from SLIPKNOT- ALL HOPE IS GONE (2008). The fourth studio album originally released after a four year hiatus following the release of VOL. 3: SUBLIMINAL VERSES. (2004).
Both fans and music critics were excited and curious to see which direction the band would go and suffice to say Slipknot produced quite a few surprises, whilst retaining the heavy metal signature sound that the band is known for. This would also be the final album to feature their original bassist the late Paul Gray and fellow band member Joey Jordison on drums who left in 2013. It was released to critical acclaim and went straight to number one on the Billboard 200 charts eventually going platinum.
