Signed in person on February 26, 2011 (in black Sharpie) in Omaha NE outside the Holland Performing Arts Center, after he performed that evening as part of a double billing with Kris Kristofferson.
The LP cover suffered some noticeable water damage a few months after it was signed. Fortunately, this did not negatively impact the integrity of Merle's signature, nor the sound quality of the vinyl (it has no warps or skips).
In an LP display frame behind glass, this rare item would still look sharp.
Sadly, Merle passed away a little over five years later, in April 6, 2016.
I've been collecting autographs in person for 30+ years. It's time to clear out the inventory as I wind down from this hobby that's brought me so much joy and happy memories.
