You are viewing the following listing:

Artist: ‘Talk Talk’

Background: this signed item contains the debut full line up of this incredible UK band and is a very rare set of signatures, and extremely hard to locate complete and in such amazing definition. I have been collecting memorabilia for over 45 years and have only ever seen & ultimately owned two full copies of ‘Talk Talk’ signed memorabilia, so in my opinion this, my remaining copy is a very rare item! This copy was secured via an in-person signing in 1982. The inner sleeve has a hand-written sticker confirming that the record was signed pre-soundcheck November 1982 at the Warwick Arts Centre in Coventry, UK.

Format:  this is a fully signed copy of the debut 12” vinyl release of Talk Talk’s ‘The Party’s Over’.

Release title: ‘The Party’s Over’

Release number: EMC 3413

Barcode: N/A

Release year: 1982

Mark Hollis (vocals) (1981 – 1991), (died 2019):

Lee Harris (drums) (1981 – 1991): Lee has signed his full name in the middle left-hand side of the front panel at 9 o’clock on the texted card, in a medium-blue fine biro-style pen. Signature is graded 8/10 for ink definition and coverage.

Paul Webb (bass guitar) (1981 – 1988): Paul has signed his full name in the middle right-hand side of the front panel at 3 o’clock on the texted card, in a medium-blue fine biro-style pen. Signature is graded 8/10 for ink definition and coverage.

Simon Brenner (1981 – 1983): Simon has signed his full name in the lower right-hand side at 5 o’clock on the texted card, in a medium-blue fine biro-style pen. Signature is graded 8/10 for ink definition and coverage.

This is a stunning set of 100% genuine signatures, which would look amazing mounted, framed and glazed!

Shipping weight: 600grm

Size dimensions: 31.5cm x 31.5cm x 2cm

Shipping dimensions: 33cm x 33cm x 3cm

Condition: the inner sleeve has minor edge, moderate rubbing and indentation marks from housing the vinyl, and moderate creasing and is graded very good plus (+) condition. The vinyl itself is housed in a poly-lined bag, which is in excellent condition. The bag contains a hand-written label confirming signing details. The vinyl itself shows signs of moderate plays with finger marks, numerous hairlines, minor scuffs and is graded very good condition.

The all-important super rare outer signed sleeve is printed in a moderately textured card. There are minor points of edge wear to the edges of the sleeve, and minor wear points and ‘dinks’ to all four corners. There are moderate creases around the right-hand side of the front panel, and a moderate crease towards the top left-hand edge of the front panel. This condition is consistent with the rear of the sleeve, and there is evidence of the removal of a pricing sticker on the top right-hand corner of the rear panel. Overall sleeve grading is very good condition.

This super rare sleeve would look amazing mounted, framed and glazed!
