NM = A 'Near Mint' grade record will have no sounding marks and a crisp clean sleeve.
Ex = An 'Excellent' grade record and sleeve may have only a few light
superficial surface marks and scuffs but no major scratches.
VG = A 'Very Good' grade record will have more or heavier surface marks
and/or sleeve wear but should play without any major deterioration of
sound quality.
G = A 'Good' grade record and sleeve has been played so often that there
is noticeable deterioration of sound quality with possibly some
distortion and scratches. The cover will be well worn and possibly torn.
