Comments: These gradings are not embellished whatsoever..! All discs appear to have never been played or played VERY little. These are in collector quality. Additional photos and information is available upon request.

Record Grading

Based on Goldmine Magazine's Standard Grading is visual unless noted otherwise. I can play grade any record upon request. I do not use "Mint" as a grade. "Sealed" is more appropriate. I grade very conservatively and do it by the book. The photos are so detailed that you can most likely verify a grading by looking closely.
Grading Scale Sealed: Record and cover never touched. Unopened. Mint Condition. NM: Nearly perfect record. Vinyl and cover will show no obvious signs of use. An LP jacket should have no creases, folds, seam-splits or any other noticeable similar defect. Almost invisible ring wear or other signs of slight handling. Each track plays through perfectly. VG++ (EX): Disc plays near perfectly, but may have minor paper scuffs that do not interfere with the sound quality. There can possibly be a hairline scratch or two but nothing that is obvious or affects play. Vinyl is bright and shiny; label is clean and unmarked. VG+: VERY well cared for record. Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK. The label may have some ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable.  Picture sleeves and LP inner sleeves will have some slight wear, turned-up corners, or a slight seam-split. An LP jacket may have slight signs of wear  VG: Not a bad record. Many of the defects found in the VG+ record will be more pronounced in a VG disc. Surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Labels will be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached. The same will be true of picture sleeves or LP covers. However, it will not have all of these problems at the same time, only two or three of them.  G: Good does not mean bad! Can be put on a turntable and will play through without skipping (well, maybe a few skips).  But it will have significant surface noise, scratches and visible groove wear. A jacket or sleeve will have seam-splits, especially at the bottom or on the spine. Tape, writing, ring wear or other defects will start to overwhelm the object.

Packaging

I take the packing of your newly purchased record very seriously. I use a tried and true method that seems to be the industry standard. I invest in high quality packing materials to furthur insure the safety of your purchase. I have not run into any problems with the method i pack or ship. Please do not worry about the safety of your package.

Records are mailed in 200lb test record mailers (pictured above). A new 3mil plastic outer sleeve is included with each record purchased. Disc will be removed from its cover/jacket for added security (preventing seam splits during shipment). Cover and disc are secured with cardboard inserts and bubble wrap for a tight, snug fit.

Payment PayPal is my preferred method of payment. Under special circumstances, i will allow for other means of payment. Please contact me before making purchase if you are unable to pay via PayPal.     Payment should be made within (2) days of auctions end. International Payments
