Well, I finally have it. "Carlsberg & Cocktails",  my first 12 "EP. It seems that P.J.dedicated this record to his 2 long-suffering canine companions of the same names as the title, very interesting. I must admit that when I listened to this record for the first time that I was amazed at the different style of music. Some of it quite different to the usual P.J. type of music that I love. I must say that the first song " Crazy Cajun" is very reminiscent of"Niki Hokey". "She's My Right Hand Man" is a very Country Disco style. "Shake Yer Bum" is a very interesting one to listen to especially the electric guitar backing on it. On side 2 we have the"Carlsberg & Cocktails" song. It starts off with P.J. saying,  "Just pretend you're in church, don try to be clever, just pretend you're in church. I'm not sure I'm quite in on the joke whatever it is. But P.J. sounds like Elvis Presley when he says this line. If someone can enlighten me about the joke I'd like to know what it is. I thought that maybe it might be some joke that was between P.J. & Elvis going back to their childhood or something he remembered from the 4 years that he worked together in Hollywood perhaps??? "Heartbreak Hotel", well this is really different.I was expecting the rock n roll version, but P.J. does it Country, Disco style. I  have never herd it sung like this before and I must admit that even though I am not one who likes country music much I could really get used to this version that P.J. sings. I think it would be very suitable for line-dancing. It is my opinion that not many singers are very impressive to me when they sing Country Music with the exception of Elvis Presley , Jerry Lee   Lewis, & now P.J. Proby. I'm very surprised that P.J. has somehow managed to pull this one off, but then I should not be at all surprised, because he is a master at all styles of music and all kinds of voices. This record is really growing on me, and that's pretty unbelievable for someone who is not really partial to these styles.Congratulations, You've won me P.J.
