You are bidding on an excellent copy of Armageddon’s self titled debut album. This is the band’s one and only release and it was issued in 1975.
Armageddon was fronted by Keith Relf, who had previously been the lead singer for the highly influential and legendary British band The Yardbirds. The Yardbirds never gained mass popularity but it’s members included twin guitar tandems of Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck and Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page. Jimmy Page was the lone guitarist in The Yardbirds when the band ended. He soon formed another band called “the New Yardbirds” and toured Scandinavia with that group. That group soon changed it’s name…
Keith Relf’s post Yardbirds career included this stint with Armageddon. Armageddon’s other members had played with Rod Stewart and Johnny Winter. This was a supergroup and this album is one great slab of hard rock and blues. Great musicianship and great songs.
This particular copy of the album is in fantastic condition and has been deep cleaned, washed with deionized water, and vacuumed by The Record Doctor, LLC The vinyl play grades to EX with only a few clicks and pops. The cover is in VG condition. This LP is rare and hard to find in this condition.
