Beatles - Abbey Road LP PCS 7088 (1973 Reissue, Apple, UK)
UK Reissue pressed by Pathe Marconi in France 04243 a 21b / 04243 b 21b

Abbey Road needs introduction.  This particular repress comes from the period when EMI's record plant was being renovated in the early seventies and production duties were contracted to Pathe Marconi in France.  A brief note should for some reason, 'Come Together' fades in, unlike most pressings where it just "starts".  

Condition (I Grade NM / EX / VG+ / VG / VG- / G / F)

Sleeve - (CONDITION) VG+ This has been looked after and still looks shiny.  There's no tears, splits or writing.  There's some signs of storage wear (spine a bit flattened at top end, and there are some ripples in the laminate.  Also, the very faintest ringwear.  Not far off EX.
 
Record - (CONDITION) VG+ apart from some spindlehole wear, there's very little sign of much play.  Barely a mark - no scratches.  Plays fine, with a little crackle here and there and the odd "pop". (it could do with a thorough clean). 
 
Who wants this?  If you prefer to keep your Beatles analog (the recent reissues are digitally sourced), and want to pay less than you normally would for a reissue, this might be your ticket.  In a very nice condition (some would probably grade it higher).  Also might suit those who like comparing/collecting pressings.
