Ferry Aid were a British / American ensemble group, brought together to record the Beatles "LET IT BE" in 1987. All sales from this charity single were donated to the charity set up in the aftermath of Zeebrugge Disaster. The recording was organised by The Sun newspaper.

Among the artists performing on the title track are Paul McCartney, Boy George, Keren Woodward, Nick Kamen, Paul King, Mark King, Jaki Graham, Taffy, Mark Knofler, Andy Bell, Pepsi and Shirley, Mel and Kim, Gary Moore, Kim Wilde, Nik Kershaw, Edwin Starr, Ben Volpeliere-Pierrot, Ruby Turner and Kate Bush.

Both bought on day of release and unplayed. The 12" version is particularly hard to find.
