Cover:

The original BLUE TINTED garrod & lofthouse cover which only opens at one end is in VERY GOOD+ condition if not better!!with no writing or stickers or edge splits...normaly you see these covers with bad storage ring wear but this has not,the ring wear is very light,there are some edge creases and rubbing on the corner tips.On the edges as you would expect there are bits of rubbing.The spine is solid with just a little wear

Posters

The 2 original posters are in MINT- condition..thicker paper than later issues

Stickers

The 2 stickers which have the "fastprint","crack back" text and the diagonal lines are in MINT- condition

Original inner

The original black poly lined inner which has the blue "made in great britain","patent nos.." text has no tears or splits and is in EXCELLENT++ condition

Labels:

The SOLID BLUE triangle labels which have the "Gramophone co" rim text are very clean and grade EXCELLENT++

Record

Visually the record in normal light LOOKS MINT!! with full gloss and shine...no groove wear or deep scratches..When you look under a very strong light and tilt it at different angles then you can just see a few marks..side 1 i would say is EXCELLENT to EXCELLENT+..side 2 is better EXCELLENT++ to NEAR MINT...BUT BELIEVE ME THIS IS GRADED UNDER VERY STRONG LIGHT...SOME PEOPLE WOULD GRADE NEAR MINT!!.I feel the record needs a clean on a proper cleaning machine to remove any unwanted dust from the grooves as on audio it plays with some light static crackle...i have heard and read that these first early issues where not the best sounding..so if the winning bidder cleans it,it could solve the problem...as it sure looks superb!!
