This is an Original 1973 Pressing of PINK FLOYD - DARK SIDE OF THE MOON, Capital Records, SMAS-11163
it is STILL PARTIALLY SEALED in Original Shrink. Has Original HYPE Sticker on the Front Cover Plastic. It has NEVER BEEN PLAYED. Gatefold Cover is STILL SEALED so it has never been exposed.
The only reason it is partially sealed is because over the years, the plastic has torn on two of the edges, exposing two corners... resulting in shelf wear. Also, the edge of the cover is open where the vinyl can be pulled out. Again, this is a result of age wear of the original plastic wrap. The Vinyl has NEVER BEEN PLAYED. Still MINT. The Gatefold Cover is still tightly sealed in the plastic. Because the side of the plastic is open, I can see all the inserts inside, but I have NEVER REMOVED THEM.
This would be listed as NEW if not for the tears in the plastic exposing the corner and the cover opening. The Vinyl is MINT. As I said, never been played. Only reason I can pull it out is because the original shrink on the side finally opened all the way down. The Cover is EX, mostly still covered in shrink except for the corners where it started to come off, causing some shelf wear.
I transported the entire album to a protective plastic sleeve years ago to prevent anymore plastic rips. I only took it out to photograph.
