The original Garrod & lofthouse gatefold top opening cover is in a lovely Excellent+ to Excellent condition If not better!!,very clean with No tears, stickers or writing

Front: The laminated front cover which has the limited number 0134978 is Very clean!,with No laminate damage or bad ring wear,it is more of an off white colour now but still very clean. The number and the embossed "The BEATLES" are clear and unfaded. There are a few  small edge creases and minimal ageing...thats all!!..nothing major, the corner tips are nice and sharp with a little rubbing on the bottom ones

Inside: The inside which is also laminated with flipbacks is also very clean with No laminate breaking or bad creases, tiny bit of creasing on the flipbacks

Back: The laminated back like the front is clean..no laminate crinkling, there is Very slight evidence of the record being in the cover and in the top left corner there is a little staining. In regard to creases there are as you would expect just a few very tiny edge creases (never seen a cover that didn`t!) and 2 small half moon creases

Edges/Spine: The edges are nice with No splits, the Wide spine is superb with No splits or bad laminate breaking and the text is fully readable.at the bottom of the spine there is a Tiny bit of wear (nothing bad)

Records

All 4 sides are Very clean, the grades below are taken under Very strong light as in daylight they look Near mint!with full gloss and shine,No groove wear and No deep nasty fingernail scratches and they are both unwarped

Side 1: Very Very clean,i had to look hard and tilt lp to see some light marks.Grades Excellent+(+)

Side 1 starts with a quiet run on into the fantastic "Back in the u.s.s.r" which plays fantastic,in some quiet passages and on quieter songs like "Dear prudence" you can hear some static crackle/background noise but nothing that overshadows the music,it does not stick or jump

Side 2: Again Very clean, under a strong light you can see a few more light scratches/marks.Grades Excellent

Side 2 The tracks play excellent in general all the way through..no sound distortion or loud background noise and it does not stick or jump,in some quiet places you can hear some light crackle but this mostlyy in the quieter passages and in between tracks..nothing that overshadows the music in any way, even quieter songs like "Blackbird" play really well

Side 3: Same as side 2,some faint marks/scratches.Grades Excellent

What a fantastic start to side 3 with the brilliant "Birthday" which sounds Amazing!!..the rest of the tracks play also really well, just like the other 2 sides..little bits of light static which can be heard in quieter passages, plus a click on "Yer blues"..not really intrusive!....FANTASTIC!!

Side 4: Same as sides 2/3 some faint marks/scratches.Grades Excellent

So you want a revolution?,thats what the 1st track asks "Revolution" on side 4,The rest of the tracks as all the other sides play well with no sound distortion,in general they mostly play excellent, just little bits of background noise which can be heard in quieter passages (on "Honey pie")..but it does not stick or jump

ALTOGETHER A FANTASTIC FIRST ISSUE COMPLETE PACKAGE!!
