Sublime 40 Oz to Freedom - 2005 Lmtd Edition 2500 Copies - 2xLP Cranberry Vinyl
Sublime 40 Oz to Freedom - Erika Records # ER-2002-16 (Skunk/ 77 Records). The disc is graded as VG+, with side one last song being VG. On side 1, track 6 (5446 What's My Number/ Ball and Chain), someone colored blue white out in a pattern (see photos) on the vinyl. I used several applications of vinyl cleaner soaked into grooves to remove most of the white out. I scrubbed as much as possible and got almost all white out from in the grooves. The remaining color is a stain on the vinyl that DOES NOT affect playback too terribly. In pictures you can see that most of white out is OUT of the groove and just stained the top part of surface. I PLAY GRADED this disc, and especially this song several times. The stain does not affect playback, except with a light crackle on each revolution but very faint and quiet. DOES NOT overpower music, and DOES NOT SKIP at all. No "pop's or static, just light crackle during track 6 (VG). The rest of disc has exceptional sound and is VG+. On side 4 from songs (Rivers of Babylon to KRS-1), there is some light background noise, but nothing overpowering at all. Cover is VG/VG+ with great artwork (high gloss) and Original Inner Picture Sleeves present. There is a 2-3 inch seem split on top spine on each side of gate fold by inserts (see photos). Light spine fray bottom spine. minor creases in some places, NO ringwear No fade. Great intact title spine, with minor fray on bottom title. Both Inner sleeves are high glossed, with light seem splits in some places of Inner Sleeves, still intact and holding vinyls.
Absolute great players copy, would NOT get rid of this copy if I didn't need money.
I use the Goldmine Standards to Grade Records. Bid with confidence, I play grade every disc.
