You are bidding on PERE UBU - DATAPANIK IN THE YEAR ZERO, 12" vinyl E.P., 45 RPM STEREO on RADAR Records, released in 1978. ENGLISH IMPORT. This pressing is from the original run. Etched on the side two run-off area is 'COME TO THE DISASTRODROME'. Vinyl is in near mint condition, cover is excellent.
An early anthology containing several tracks from the band's first four singles--except for "Untitled", an early version of "The Modern Dance" that was previously unreleased. (As for the songs not on this compilation, "The Modern Dance" and "Street Waves" were included on the "Modern Dance" album, while "Final Solution" and "My Dark Ages" wouldn't be reissued until 1980.)     The band was: DAVID THOMAS (CROCUS BEHEMOTH), vocals - PETER LAUGHNER, guitars - TIM WRIGHT, guitar/bass - TOM HERMAN, guitars - TONY MAIMONE, bass - ALLEN RAVENSTEIN, synthesizers - and SCOTT KRAUSS, drums.
