Future Shock is the fourth album by the British rock band . Released by Virgin in 1981, it reached number 2 in the UK album chart; this would remain the band's highest placing.
The title is taken from Alvin Toffler's book .
The original vinyl LP had a gatefold sleeve, with centre pages. Cover painting was by Alan Daniels for Young Artists.
This vinyl record and sleeve/cover/booklet are in good condition.
The sleeve and booklet are signed by several band members in several locations:
The front cover is signed in thick black marker pen by Ian Gillan, Mick Underwood and Colin Towns. There is also a blue ball point signature below the Colin Towns signature, which also appears to be Colin Towns.
On the back cover, Ian Gillan has signed in blue ball point over the semi-nude woman, and the words, "Nice Tits???" are written above it, presumably by Ian Gillan himself :o)
