This is Richter's glorious Bach ST JOHN PASSION, with soloist support from Evelyn Lear, Hertha Topper, Ernst Haefliger, Hermann Prey, and Keith Engen.
It is considered by some to be top of the repertory and is here presented by Archiv (a label pretty much created to harbor Richter's enormous musical efforts with Baroque music).
An excellent set: Box like new, without any fault; all three LPs – the German pressings – are near mint. Very well tended boxed set.
