These are the original 1954 recordings of Sonny Clark, captured when the pianist was 22 years old.

It features Clark on piano as a soloist and on two lengthy tracks with Simon Brehm on bass and Bobby White on drums. Selections are IMPROVISATION No. 1, ALL GOD’S CHILLUN GOT RHYTHM, BODY AND SOUL/JEEPERS CREEPERS, OSLO, IMPROVISATION No. 2/OVER THE RAINBOW, MOVE, and AFTER YOU’VE GONE.

The only available LP ever released of the session, here factory sealed.

Shipping and handling is $4 for a single LP shipped within the States; $1 for each additional LP. Internationally, $18.60 via airmail for the first LP, $4 each thereafter. (Canada is $11.95; $3 each additional.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
