"1984" is the second instalment in the Ryan Adams Pax Am 7" vinyl series. The first single, "Gimme Something Good," came out on 1st July 2014, and has been huge, becoming the first 7" to ever top Amazon's overall chart and hitting #1 on the US Singles chart and getting glowing press.
Stereogum called it "a total knockout," American Songwriter deemed it "loud and lovely" and Paste said it "brings back the raw intensity of his early work."
This 7" is a change of speeds from his self-titled album (released on September 9th 2014 on Blue Note Records), it does indeed have 10 songs on it (they're short) and all of them are exclusive to this release
