Handy twofer collecting Canterbury trooper Ayers' first two solo albums. Singular songwriting genius with a penchant for chaos. His old bandmates from the Soft Machine and his Whole World group join in for the fun. 

Condition (I Grade NM / EX / VG+ / VG / VG- / G / F)

Sleeve - (CONDITION) VG - The gatefold is quite a few signs of wear - edgewear,  light ringwear, sticker residue and a small split in the top of the spine.  Some creases and marks at the other end.. Back top gatefold has become unglued - but could be easily fixed by the buyer.  Spine a bit worn but still legible. 

Record - (CONDITION) VG+ / VG+ Joy Of A Toy - Not much visual wear - although the labels have some dirty marks and the record is a bit dusty. Has been cared for pretty well, with no visible scratches and plays well - some surface noise and some light clicks here and there, but nothing too obtrusive.   In fact, a thorough clean would probably lessen the crackle.  Shooting At The Moon - A few light scratches and some scuffs near the start on side 1.  Neither really effects the sound - which plays similarly to the above - some surface noise and some pops - but nowt serious or repetitive - it's not even that bad in the really quiet improv section on side 2.

Who wants this?  This twofer handy, affordable way of getting vintage pressings of these albums without paying full whack for originals.  Although the cover has some wear, the records themselves both play really well (although they both could do with a clean).

I love records, too! I package all records in proper mailers with stiffeners. Books are packaged in cardboard. I PLAY GRADE virtually all of my items, as well as looking visually.   Always read the description.  It will normally tell you what you need to know.  I remove records from their outer sleeves to avoid splitting. All records are packed in a plastic sleeve for extra protection. Although I don't normally accept returns / refunds, if you have any issues please let me know within 3 days of recieving the item and we'll sort it out amicably.  I want you totally happy!
