Blue label with silver text, deep groove original. Leader, Vega, piano with Jack Lawlor, bass and Jimmy Zitano, drums, bongos. 8 tracks as listed on the front cover. Very rare.
Cover: VG++ to Mint(-) Intact and clean with light aging on the front and back cover. Notes on the back cover by Ira Gitler.
Record: VG to VG+ Visually shows no wear. No markings on the vinyl surface. There is substantial groove noise with some crackling on the first 2 tracks on Side A. Much less noise on tracks 3 & 4 on Side A. Side B has much less noise on the first 2 tracks with tracks 3 & 4 about the same as in Side A. This erratic sound condition is not unusual for early Prestige 10" pressings. The music can be heard clearly. It is difficult to grade so I have given my best estimate. Probably this is as good a copy of this rare record as can be found. Audibly checked.
