This album commemorates the largest live concert event in history.  Twelve bands shuttling between Philadelphia and Washington DC to play before a combined audience of over 1.7 million joyful celebrants of America's Birthday on July 4, 1985.  To honor the values of freedom and to raise funds for the rstoration of the greatest symbol of freedom in the world --- The Statue of Liberty -- the bands came and the  crowd rejoiced thoughout two simultaneous day-long events. Now through the further contribution of their performances of this album, these generous performers have created an opportunity for individuals to contribute to the restoration of Lady Liberty in the same way that individuals contributed to her creation.
