The Byrds - Mr. Tambourine Man LP CS 2372 (Columbia, USA, 1965-66)
Very early 65-66 Mono repress.  Columbia "2 Eye - 360 Sound" Red Labels.
Matrices - 2F/2H

Easy to forget how great the Byrds were in the beginning - but their debut really hits it home.  Whilst a lot of this LP is cover material (particularly from the hand of Bob Dylan), the interpretations and arrangements really shine, and the self penned originals from the fast developing Gene Clark showed the band could write compelling and distinctive material of their own.  An essential 60s album.

Condition (I Grade NM / EX / VG+ / VG / VG- / G / F)

Sleeve - (CONDITION) VG The pasted sleeve is still solid, but has marks all over consistent with ringwear.  Some writing on front in black pen.  Back has faded but is still perfectly legible.  Some sticker reissue top left.  Corners have a bit of wear, as does the spine, but all text is still clean.

Record - (CONDITION) VG+ Vinyl surface has some scratches and scuffs.  Plays great, though - some crackle and surface noise, but it's only really evident in the quiet bits.  No nasty clicks, jumps or skips.  Some black marker on one of the labels.

Who wants this?  A great vintage listening copy of the first Byrds LP, with no major issues and a presentable sleeve!
