with the 2nd Hype Sticker to be issued on this Lp!!

Please Read the Following Information as to 

Why this is a VERY EARLY Pressing !!

** Michael Jackson's Album "Thriller" was 1st released in November 1982.

     The ONLY song from the Album to be released PRIOR

     to the Album was "The Girl Is Mine", duet

     with Paul McCartney (released in October '82).

     Therefore VERY 1st Pressings of this Album were released with

     a Black Hype Sticker on the Shrink Wrap promoting this ONE song

     and this ONE SONG ONLY !!

     The Black Hype Sticker was replaced in Early '83 with a RED Sticker

     promoting the first 3 songs released from the Album.

     - The Girl Is Mine: released October '82

     - Billie Jean: released January '83

     - Beat It: released February '83

     Therefore this Lp is a Very Early 2nd Pressing released around Feb.'83

     Later 1983/84 Releases of the Album had various Stickers Promoting

     various milestones such as "Grammy Nominee", "Biggest Selling Album" etc...

** Another Point of interest is that VERY EARLY Pressings of this Album

     DID NOT have "Co-Produced By Michael Jackson" printed on the back

     just underneath "Produced By Quincy Jones". (such as this Lp)
