Up for auction is a very nice copy of the classic Desmond Dekker & The Aces ska album "Israelites" released on UNI Records (73059) in 1968.  This is a guaranteed original stereo recording, no a cheap reissue or import.
Cover is in very nice shape.  Front graphics are bold and clear, no real signs of ring wear or rubbing loss.  Corners are sharp, not bumped, though a couple show a very small amount of rubbing.  Seams are strong and intact, no splits, no cracking.  Cover does have a factory punch hole in upper right corner.  Back cover is nice and clean, bone white, with no ring wear, no writing, and no age discoloration.  I'd grade this cover Near Mint Minus (NM-).
Vinyl is also in very nice condition.  Still retains its original high gloss shine.  No obvious scratches or scuffs.  Does have a few very faint hairlines from taking the vinyl in and out of the paper inner sleeve.  Very few signs of previous handling or play.  Labels are bright and clean, no obvious marks around spindle holes, indicating little previous play.  I have play tested this record, and it sounds generally clean and clear.  No persistent background noise or signs of wear.  Not audiophile perfect, but nonetheless a very nice listening copy.  I'd grade this record Near Mint Minus (NM-).
