Steel Pulse's very rare first single from 1976.

A - Kibudu-Mansatta-Abuku

B - Mansatta (instrumental)

On the Concrete Jungle label ref: CJ 602

Matrix run-out groove etchings:  CJ602-A1   /    CJ602-B1

A slow rumbling heavy roots reggae record, not like the brighter shinier later Steel Pulse sound.

Vinyl Condition: Fair to Good. The vinyl surface has quite a lot of scuffs and scratches, a couple of examples of which you can see on the photos. Both sides have crackles, clicks and pops all the way through. Some of the clicks are soft and some are medium. There are sections where the crackles and pops are more sporadic. There are sections where the crackles and clicks are soft. The last couple of seconds of the A side ends with a couple of medium loud clicks, other than this there are no big fat clicks. There are no jumps or skips. It's not in great condition but you can still get enjoyment out of listening to it, as I do.

The paper disk at the centre of the record on the A side has my name written on it in red ink and there's the remains of some pencil writing (name again?) on the B side, both in the white area at the top (see photos). I obviously wasn't thinking of selling it nearly 40 years later!

I wouldn't be bothering to sell a record in this condition if it weren't so rare. I'm also getting rid of most of my vinyl collection.

I'm selling a number of reggae LPs and 12" 's, so if you buy some of these, I should be able to package this in with them for zero extra postage. For up to 3 records I'm charging £5 postage, for 4 to 6 I'm charging £6.60 .
