All records listed are in no less than EX condition (see above for actual grading). In some cases I may list a very rare record at a lesser grading but this will be described in detail. All items are graded conservatively according to Record Collectors Grading System Record Collectors Grading system (outlined at end of listing)
Brief description of item
The very rare Brunswick LAT 8618 original first pressing in mono. Featuring different early versions from the US release. Album condition play was EXCELLENT. What an album! considered a bit of a "rush job" by the band themselves, a lot of material was later changed & dropped from this album for different versions or alternative tracks. And the later cover is an entirely different kettle of fish!! making this a very scarce thing today. My grading is based first on the actual record itself.
Please note I have provided a photograph taken at a certain angle, there is a small surface needle drop or light surface scratch, thankfully this doe's not effect the audio other than a small background tick at the start of "My Generation" the entire album plays as EX & is just that, a great player & very clean record, dust free vinyl. Both labels are in VG++ shape with some signs of use I.E. Spindle wear. No names or ripping, stains or fade in print. All text is fully legible. The record itself is not warped & is seriously clean & LOUD!! played all the way through on each side....Its a great player & some of the tracks (maybe just to me) sound different than I have heard in certain parts of production, but this might just be my imagination! so don't quote me.
Run off matrix A side : MG-10256-1B & B side : MG-10257-1B
The main cover is in VG++ shape, with minimal & common signs of aging. Its from 1965 & very prone by design alone, to have paper aging on the rear of the jacket. This is down to the type of card used at the time of manufacture in the day. These are not stains or any kind of grubby marks/cover does not smell musty or aged. Merely as I say, "Paper/card aging" intact spine to the side of cover. Text is still legible & has only a couple of small signs of age. Front cover is in nice shape, with full colour/different cover of the band, standing beside some oil drums, pretty clean and bold. Looking VG++ for the age. There are no rips or tearing of the cover. just some superficial and in most cases, expected age.
Overall a great playing copy. NOT MINT!! if your looking for an archived all round copy, this is not it, but definitely worth my time (and yours reading this) to list. Mint examples are very expensive, so if you need a great playing copy, with decent cover & labels...Then this is it. Do not let this small issue of a visual nature take away, the fact of this great & almost perfect record.

Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condiition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displayes no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable
Good (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has notceably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc
Fair (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
Poor (P) The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler
CD's and CASSETTES As a general rule CD's and Cassettes either play perfectly - inwhich case they are in Mint condition - or they don't, in which case their value is minimal. Cassette tape is liable to deteriorate with age, even if it remains unplayed, so care should be taken when buying old tapes. CD's are difficult to grade visually; they can look perfect but actually be faulty, while in other cases they may appear damaged but still play perfectly. Cassette and CD inlays and booklets should be graded in the same way as record covers and sleeves. In general, the plastic containers for cassettes and CDs can easily be replaces if they are broken or scratched, but card covers and digipaks are subject to the same wear as record sleeves
