Up for auction is one of the Holy Grails of 80s indie-rock, The Replacements "Let It Be" originally released on the small Minnesota-based indie label Twin/Tone Records (TTR 8441) in 1984.  This is a guaranteed, original first U.S. pressing, not a cheap reissue or import like most for sale on eBay.  Important note: No UPC/bar code on album cover.  Later issue copies had UPC codes as they were common by 1985-86, the year after the original release of "Let It Be".  Also has the rare "shadow" label with words and a profile printed in the background.  Comes in audiophile protective inner sleeve.
Has the important Matrix markings in run-out grooves: Side One: TTR-8441-A, S-12679, "MASTERDISK" stamp; Side Two: TTR-8441-B, S-12680, "MASTERDISK" stamp.
Cover is in beautiful condition--very few signs of previous wear or handling.  No cut-out marks, punch holes, or cut corners.  Front is super clean, very shiny and new looking.  No ring wear or rubbing losses.  No creases, no chips, no tears.  Corners are sharp, not bumped, with only a small hint of rubbing on lower left corner.  Seams are strong, no splits, no rubbing loss on edges of seams.  Back cover is also clean, no ring wear or rubbing loss.  Really pristine looking.  Easily grade this cover Near Mint (NM), one of the nicest examples you'll ever come across.  Virtually impossible to upgrade.
The vinyl is also in beautiful condition, retains its original high gloss shine.  Very well-preserved.  Vinyl disc is virtually mark-free except one small, superficial mark on Side One, Track One--but it can't be felt, nor does it affect playback quality on my turntable.  Side Two is mark-free, super clean.  Labels are clean, no marks around spindle holes, indicating little previous play.  I've owned this copy for 30 years, and it's been played maybe once or twice--otherwise archived.  One of the cleanest copies you'll find.  Grade the vinyl Near Mint Minus (NM-).
