HORACE SILVER & ART BLAKEY "THE JAZZ MESSENGERS" six-eye mono PROMO lp on Columbia CL 897 US issue (1956) VG+/VG. I would grade this lp VG+. It plays great, but has some minimal noise that was not there when the record was new. It may also have visual marks, consistent with a well cared for, but appreciated, record that’s had a moderate amount of play. This LP still plays great and has lots of shine and is beautiful overall. THIS IS A VINTAGE COPY (pre-2000). ALL LPS COME TO YOU FRESHLY CLEANED AND PLAY READY. FOR MAXIMUM  RESULTS RECLEAN EACH SIDE  AFTER INITIAL PLAY (SOME OF MY LPS HAVE NOT BEEN PLAYED FOR 40 YRS. OR MORE.) This is a real collectible copy of this in VG+ condition. This has to be one of the greatest Jazz groups ever. Hank Mobley was healthy and at the top of his game when this was recorded. Great collectible.

The Jacket: In black magic marker, my initials back upper left, an x back lower left. A very functional jacket. I would rate the cover VG overall will with pretty light ring, seam and corner wear. This is still really nice and in very close to VG+ condition itself. Great collectible package.     (I only be citing things not visible in pictures).
