This 1967 release marked the commercial debut of Captain Beefheart and His Magic Band, and is now highly soughtafter by collectors of mid-1960s blues rock. The copy offered here is very clean and came from a private, well-cared for collection. Vinyl looks to be a solid VG+, maybe better. Jacket has only some minor general wear and slight fading. Very nice record!
A NOTE ABOUT VINYL GRADING…
We follow fairly closely the visual grading guidelines set by Goldmine Magazine, and tend to err more on the conservative side when it comes to visually grading vinyl condition. That said, buyers should remember that older vinyl may have audible pops and hiss that are not necessarily the result of physical damage but rather due to unseen dirt and microscopic debris built up in the grooves through years of storage. Such annoyances can often be easily removed with a thorough and proper cleaning of the disc. We DO NOT clean records before they are shipped!
