Pink Floyd - The Wall, Stereo, UK First Pressing 1979, SHDW 4111. Near Mint.
Matrix numbers: Record 1: A-2U, B-4U; Record 2: A-3U, B-2U.
The first pressing sleeve has non-aligned bricks at the bottom edge and is printed in purple on a slightly creamy background. Inside the gatefold on the right side are the words "Produced by David Gilmour. Words and Music Roger Waters". The sixth line of bricks up from the bottom edge is blank - later copies have the band members names printed here. The sleeve is made from one piece of card which is sealed at the top; later issues are made from two pieces of card which are glued at the top and bottom. The card inner sleeves with lyrics have rounded corners and a nine inch thumb hole at the top, printed on thick card. They are in perfect condition and are provide in addition to Mobile Fidelity anti-static sleeves.
I have owned this record from new since 1979. It has been played twice only by stylus, once to listen to it, and once to record it to my Nakamichi cassette deck, on a high-end system, and a few times on my ELP laser deck (no contact replay system, see photo).
