This auction is for a very collectible vintage vinyl copy of the motion picture sound track to the Stephen King Stanley Kubrick movie THE SHINING on the Warner Bros. Records label, catalog number HS-3449, UPC price code number 07599234491. 

The matrix numbers in the run-off grooves are HS-3449-A-1 AL 37261 on side one, and HS-3449B-2 AL 37761 on side two.

My standard disclaimer about vinyl: As with all vinyl records, there will be at least some pops, clicks and other surface noise, so do not expect flawlessly pristine CD sound quality. I grade on the following scale: Like New, Very Good (some flaws, nothing major), Good (more noticeable flaws, but still acceptable), Fair (looking pretty bad, but not a total disaster) and Poor (extremely bad with major defects).

SPECIFIC DETAILS:

Overall condition: Very Good.

Jacket: The reason I call this copy "Very Good" and not "Like New" is because the outer jacket shows some rubbing, some tiny marks and some minor crimps. Definitely not a disaster, by any means -- the flaws all fall under the category of "minor shelfwear" -- but be aware that it is not pristinely museum-quality perfect.

Record: There's a small mark over the first three tracks of side one that thankfully is not a "click" scratch and seems to be merely a cosmetic flaw, and there is some light "factory scuffing" on side two, but the record basically is glossy and bright and sounds fine, with only the most minor surface noise here and there that probably was present when the record was brand new.

Inner sleeve: Plain paper inner sleeve has no splits.

Add only 50 cents for each additional auction of mine after the first that can be shipped by Media Mail (which includes records, CDs, DVDs, Blu-rays and books, but not comic books). Combined auctions will be shipped in different bigger boxes, obviously.

INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS: eBay adds a substantial premium to the cost of international shipping as part of their Global Shipping service. None of that extra money goes to me. I only get exactly the same shipping amount that a US bidder would pay, and all of the rest goes to eBay. So don't blame me if eBay's shipping prices to other countries are high, because I have absolutely no control over them! ALSO: eBay's Global Shipping Program is the only method that I use to ship to international bidders. So whatever price eBay's shipping calculator lists is how much shipping will cost you, there are no other alternatives.
