The record you are viewing is part of a collection acquired through a successful auction bid.  The product purchased is from a deceased record store owner whose doors closed circa 1970, having made a run of it during the 60's.  An incredibly large volume of LPs remained, many in new (sealed) or pristine condition and properly stored.  These will comprise the bulk of offerings I will be posting on eBay.  With a vast and well preserved inventory, it will take time to sift through and uncover the many hidden gems that await.  My goal is to present these finds to eBay buyers in a timely and systematic manner.  I am aware finds of this nature are indeed rare, but the fact is, the records I will be listing have sat undisturbed for over 40 years waiting to be rediscovered, shared and enjoyed.  I hope you will find some items you've been wanting and can be part of, what I feel, is an historical find.  All items kept in smoke-free, pet-free environment.  All unsealed LPs cleaned with Spin-Clean record cleaning system.
Mercury flat edge, deep groove, STEREO vinyl LP SR80002 - released 1959 
EX vinyl retains like new shine and gloss with no play or handling marks.  Side 1 label has small spindle mark, side 2 has none, indicating side 2 likely played once prior.  Play test on NAD C555 turntable revealed clean, rich stereo sound. Track 1, side 1 had a bit of light surface, but was all that was detected.  VG+ laminated cover has stubbed and creased upper left corner, dinged corners and laminated separations along spine and lower right corner.  Artists include Kenny Dorham trumpet, Sonny Rollins sax and Ray Bryant piano.
