This is the album that really brought Springsteen to the publics eye, especially because his face showed up on that weeks Time AND Newsweek magazines, which had never happened before. While his first two album were great, this album is just a stone classic, from the opening piano from new member Roy Bitton on Thunder Road, to the amazing closer Jungleland. This album is full of stories and original music from a soon to be superstar (and for me, Springsteen was the first concert I'd ever been to after the release of Darkness On The Edge Of Town, another flat out classic). The vinyl on this copy has some very light marks, and one spot where it looks like something lightly rubbed against it, but I have listened to this copy TWICE and the sound is just great, with no skips, and only very minimal pops or background used vinyl sound. Great vinyl, shiny, clean, and full of color. The gatefold cover is still pretty clean and white, only a bit of shelf or ring wear, seen mostly on the back. It has no splitting, and a very legible spine, the lyrics of all songs on the income cover. The cover is still quite solid, the vinyl is very nice, this is a great play copy! Please see all photos before bidding, message me if you have any questions, and take a few minutes to check out our store full of familiar and hard to find / rare vinyl of all catagories, books, auto manuals, magazines, etc. If you are age 60 or more, a US Military Veteran, or a public servant, please message me for a 10% discount.
