Original 1964 1st STEREO Pressing of 'Meet The Beatles' without the BMI or ASCAP credits on the side 1 & 2 labels. Beatles fans in the know understand the rarity of this LP. In Capitol's rush to cash in on the Beatles popularity during 1964,Capitol Records pressed up the initial first run of this record without the proper publishing credits listed following the songs and track times on the labels. Since fewer stereo copies were pressed than mono copies at the time of this release, these stereo versions are considerably scarcer and harder to come by (without the proper BMI/ASCAP credits). Machine stamped matrix #'s are 'ST-2047-A-A-1' & 'ST 2047-B-A-1'. Unfortunately, the record itself is not in great shape, showing lots of light marks & scuffing on both sides.None of these marks are deep or feelable. The one notable mark that may cause an issue during playback is located on Side 2/Track 1-'Don't Bother Me'. A VG-or lesser copy. This record has NOT been play graded. Please understand that I am listing this LP due to it's rarity & status as a sought after Beatles collectible and NOT for it's 'condition'. I acquired this LP without it's cover as well,so this is a listing is for the LP itself only-NO cover is included. Original Capitol inner sleeve is clean and present & will be included.Low opening bid & NO reserve! Both Inner sleeve & LP will be shipped in a generic outer sleeve.(see pics) Thanks for your interest & if this LP is something you are interested in adding to your Beatles collection,GOOD LUCK!
