Note: This record was completely sealed right before I listed this record. There was a bend on the top of the jacket and I thought that the record may have been damaged. I opened the shrinkwrap with a thin opening. No damage to shrinkwrap.  Removed vinyl and it was not damaged and was completely new. I did not play the record so it remains unplayed.   Vinyl is clean with all original luster. Record has not been played..
Record grades a Mint condition.  
No real flaws to list..
Record plays and sounds terrific.
Both Elektra labels are in at least a NM condition with no wear.
 No stickers.   No writing. 
Gatefold Jacket is also in around at least a NM Condition. 
 Shrinkwrap has no real damage


Queen are a  band that formed in London in 1970. The classic line-up was  (lead vocals, piano),  (guitar, vocals),  (drums, vocals), and  (bass guitar). Queen's earliest works were influenced by ,  and , but the band gradually ventured into more conventional and radio-friendly works by incorporating further styles, such as  and , into their music.

Before forming Queen, Brian May and Roger Taylor had played together in a band named . Freddie Mercury (then known by his birth name of Farrokh "Freddie" Bulsara) was a fan of Smile and encouraged them to experiment with more elaborate stage and recording techniques. Mercury joined the band in 1970, suggested "Queen" as a new band name, and adopted his familiar stage name. John Deacon was recruited prior to recording their  in 1973. Queen first charted in the UK with their second album,, in 1974, but it was the release of  later that year and  in 1975 which brought them international success. The latter featured "", which stayed at number one in the UK for nine weeks and popularized the . Their 1977 album, , contained "" and "", which have become anthems at sporting events. By the early 1980s, Queen were one of the biggest  bands in the world. Their performance at 1985's  is ranked among the greatest in rock history by various music publications, with a 2005 industry poll ranking it the best. In 1991, Mercury died of , a complication of AIDS, and Deacon retired in 1997. Since then, May and Taylor have occasionally performed together, including  (2004–09) and  (since 2011). In November 2014, Queen released a new album, , featuring vocals from the late Mercury.

News of the World is the sixth studio album by the British  band , released in 1977. Containing the hit songs "", "" and "", it went  in the United States, and achieved high certifications around the world, selling over 6 million copies. News of the World is Queen's highest selling studio-album to date.

News of the World was the second album to be produced solely by the band (the first being ) and recorded at  and , London and co-produced and engineered by .
