Dee Edwards ‘(I Can) Deal With That’ has been one of the most in demand Soul records for the past 25 years.
It was originally released as a 45 on the small independent Detroit De-To label in 1977, and that version is a killer 2-Step Soul/ Rare Groove Sista Funk groove featuring an incredible vocal from Dee. An alternative version also released the same year with strings sweetening it (using the same catalogue number), this version has been in demand on the Crossover Soul scene. Original copies of either version of the single now change hands for around £250.

Soul Brother Records are delighted to re-release this wonderful track on a limited edition 7” for Record Store Day 2016 coupling both versions on one single for the first time. There will be 750 hand numbered copies produced for RSD. This release is likely to be the most demanded 45 that Soul Brother Records have ever issued, and is sure to sell out quickly in the same way that all the previous RSD 45’s on the label have done. It is sure to be very popular with Soul fans and DJ’s in the UK and all around the world.
