Both sides of the record have 767 Lexington Ave. NYC address; same address at the bottom of the back cover. Deep groove. 12 tracks. Flat edge. Powell, piano on all tracks. 7 tracks from 1951 also include Curly Russell, bass; Max Roach, drums. 1 track from 1949 also includes Tommy Potter, bass; Roy Haynes, drums. 4 tracks from 1949 also includes Fats Navarro, trumpet; Sonny Rollins, tenor sax; Potter, bass; Haynes, drums. Included are 2 alternate takes of "Un Poco Loco" and an alternate take of "A Night In Tunisia".
Cover: VG+ Intact and clean. Light wear on the insert edge with slight paper loss. Very light aging on the back cover. Overall fine condition.
Record: VG++ Visually shows light wear, mainly on Side 1 with several surface rub marks. On Side 1, Track 1 there is slight groove noise for the first 2 or 3 revolutions ,, "Un Poco Loco" 1st take. Minor groove noise on 1 or 2 revolutions with a few light light clicks on Track 4. Also, some groove noise and light crackles on Track 6. On Side 2 there are a few light crackles on Track 2. Also, slight groove noise for 3 or 4 revolutions and several light clicks on Track 4. I have detailed the audible surface noise but, in general, the overall sound and quality is fine. Heavy vinyl pressing. Audibly checked.
