Matrix / Runout (Side 1): 1S- T1-811-D2#2 Matrix / Runout (Side 2): T2-811-D7#2
VERY HEAVY ORIGINAL VINYL WITH DEEP GROOVES MAKES THIS SOUND VERY GOOD ESPECIALLY AT HIGH VOLUME.

THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE FIRST PRESS OF THE CLASSIC ALBUM THAT RE- INTRODUCED  GENE VINCENT TO THE WORLD 1ST STAMPERS 1ST PRESS FOR MAXIMUM SOUND NOT A RE-RELEASE THIS IS THE ORIGINAL VERSION!

THE VINYL UNDER BRIGHT LIGHTS AND INSPECTED, SHOWS HAIR LINES AND RUBBING ACROSS THE SHINY VINYL- THERE ARE NO MAJOR DEEP SCRATCHES  WHEN PLAYED THE DEEP GROOVES MANAGE TO HIDE A LOT OF DAMAGE AND THE DYNAMICS ARE AMAZING! PLAY AT HIGH VOLUME, IT REALLY BLOWS AWAY ANY "CLEAN" DIGITAL VERSION I HAVE HEARD. THERE IS SOME CRACKLING IN QUIET SPOTS BUT REALLY NOT THAT MUCH, A LOVELY FULL ECHO SOUND FROM 1957!
THE SPINDLE HOLE SHOWS NORMAL MARKS - IT HAS OBVIOUSLY SEEN PLAY, BUT AS MENTIONED THIS IS A SUPER SOUNDING RECORD
THE ORIGINAL SLEEVE IS IN VG CONDITION,  FIXED SPLITS WITH NOW OLD TAPE AND 3" TOP SPLIT AND 2" BOTTOM BY OPENING- NO LABELS AND NO WRITING  -  THERE IS BUMPING TO EDGES AND CORNERS AND RING WEAR GENERAL AGE WEAR BUT STILL IN NICE SHAPE OVERALL-  (SEE PHOTO) NO CUT OUTS NO PUNCH HOLES

PLEASE SEE PHOTOS

LABELS ARE BRIGHT WITH NO DAMAGE NO WRITING OR LABELS

THIS IS A VERY NICE SOUNDING EXAMPLE OF GENE VINCENT'S 2ND LP  ON ORIGINAL US LABEL, A FIRST PRESSING NOT TO BE MISSED DEFINITELY PREVIOUSLY ENJOYED, IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A MINT COPY THIS MIGHT NOT BE FOR YOU, BUT FOR THE BUYER WHO WANTS AN ORIGINAL 1957 DEEP GROOVE ORIGINAL, THIS IS AN INVESTMENT!!

FINALLY ONE LAST WORD RE HAIRLINES, IT IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ANY NON SEALED RECORD WITHOUT THEM, MANY HAD THEM FROM NEW. MOSTLY THEY ARE A RESULT OF STORAGE AND USE AND USUALLY HAVE LITTLE IMPACT ON THE SOUND QUALITY. THE SAME GOES FOR BACKGROUND NOISE, UNFORTUNATELY ALL RECORDS WILL HAVE SOME AND THIS VARIES AND REFLECTS THE PRESSING QUALITY.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

FULLY GUARANTEED!

IMPORTANT NOTE: unless otherwise noted, ALL records are graded visually, and NOT play-graded.

Records are graded under bright lights or discrete sunlight - In the case of visibly possible harmful scratches, the record will be tested and sound quality noted. Many vintage (1955-70) records will play fine with visible damage due to superior vinyl and better pressings.

 HIGHLY RECOMMENDED AND FULLY GUARANTEED

How I Grade Condition Of Discs

Mint

This means I have owned it from new or purchased from a distributors warehouse, basically it means absolutely new shape, never been played or out of its dust cover. In the case of LP's, a North American album will have to be factory sealed (anyone can reseal an album!) Take Note: European and Japaneses albums were never shrink wrapped!

Note: Being mint does not guarantee it's free of pops and clicks, many pressings especially from the US were made with very poor vinyl and in a hurry which means often there are imperfections in the pressing. As a former importer, we were often given back brand new albums due to clicks heard in the playback.

Mint Minus - No such thing, it's either mint or not.

Excellent - A disc is super clean, with no visible marks

Excellent Plus, means it's probably mint but can't be proven by me.

Excellent minus, is a disc that is excellent except it may have some markings that do not show up in the playing

VG - A disc that is STILL in good shape, WILL have some scuffs or scratches, not in excellent shape but well worth owning. VG + and ++,a disc that is that much better than VG.

VG minus, just a smidgen below VG

Good - A disc that can be played, has obvious ware but is worth owning, a DJ copy of a rare early Motown for instance or a rare Doo-Wop or Northern Soul which could still be worth a fortune, Good Minus & Good Plus is a step above or below Good. In most cases I will not offer a disc in this condition unless it's rare and hard to find.
